Our facility in Thomson, Georgia is conveniently located to major interstate highways. We have over 200,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing, assembly and warehousing, and our facility maintains 39 presses ranging from 220 tons to 3150 tons. Our 6 on-site silos, 15 shipping/receiving docks and rail spur enable us to safely and efficiently manage the resins we use for manufacturing our high quality products.

Lexington, NC

Kim Smith – Lexington Plant Manager

To expand our geographical coverage and better serve existing customers, TPI’s 108,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Lexington, North Carolina (northeast of Charlotte) opened in August 2014 with 11 presses ranging from 120 – 1450 tons and an experienced technical staff to support existing and new products. The plant has grown to 30 presses with room to expand both presses and assembly. This facility features 10 silos to manage multiple high and medium volume materials.

Duncan, SC

Chris Merritt – Duncan Plant Manager

To increase our presence in the South East, TPI added the 75,000 sq ft facility located in Duncan, SC in October of 2021.  The facility is located in the Greenville / Spartanburg area of South Carolina.  The plant opened with a 500 ton and 4,400 ton presses.  The 4,400 Ton is the largest press in our fleet.  Additionally, the facility has a fully equipped tool shop capable of minor to intermediate repairs and Preventive Maintenance of injection tools.  The site is home to Thomson Plastics Process Academy where our Technical Talent is trained in all aspects of plastics processing.

Howell, MI

Todd Rasmussen – Howell Plant Manager

To better serve our customers, TPI’s manufacturing plant in Howell, Michigan opened January 2014. The 50,000 sq ft facility (expandable to 150,000 sq ft) is centrally located among Flint, Lansing and the Greater Detroit area. The plant opened with 7 presses ranging from 400 tons to 800 tons and experienced technical staff to support existing and new products and assemblies. The plant has grown to 17 presses with tonnage ranging from 66 to 1760. This facility also has silos and a rail spur to manage large usage materials.
